HAROLD C. “RED” BRAUN, 89, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 8:45 pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care Center in Red Bud, Illinois.
He was born to the late Alfred and Zola (nee McCormick) Braun on March 13, 1929 in Chester, Illinois.
He married Dorothy Stork on November 22, 1951 at St. Pius V Catholic Church, in Walsh, Illinois; she survives.
Harold was retired from Chester Labor Local #925 and farming.
He was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church, Walsh, Illinois and Knights of Columbus #1952 in Evansville.
Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, playing cards and gardening. He was an avid Cardinal fan and loved spending time with family and friends.
