He was born to the late Arvy and Evelyn (nee Maes) York on July 22,
Michael was a machinist and worked for General Machine in Freeburg, Illinois for 17 years.
He was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing his banjo. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Michael was of the Christian faith.
