BETTY J. GODIER, 89, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 2:00 am, Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care in Red Bud, Illinois.
She was born to the late Gregory and Augusta (nee DuFrenne) Bievenue on November 20, 1928 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.
Betty married Floyd R. Godier on January 10, 1953 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded in death on May 13, 2009.
She worked as a cook for Prairie du Rocher Grade School for 18 years.
Betty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. She quilted with the ladies at church to make quilts for the picnic. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and watching and feeding her hummingbirds.
