HENRY EDWARD LIEFER, 95, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 10:23 am, Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Henry C. and Emma K. (Wegener) Liefer October 9, 1923 in Red Bud, Illinois.

He married Melba A. Buch on May 1, 1949 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Red Bud (Prairie), Illinois; she survives.

He had been a farmer and Road District # 3 Clerk and Road Commissioner.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Men’s Club, Red Bud Lions Club, Randolph County Farm Bureau and he had served as District President for the Lutheran Brotherhood.
