BARBARA K. DERICKSON , 71 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7 : 57 p m, Thurs day, November 1 , 201 8 at her residence .

She was born to the late Clyde and Emma (nee Mathis) Jungewaelter on May 27, 1947 in Chester, Illinois.

Barbara married Donald Derickson on August 11, 1969 in Chester, Illinois; he survives .

She worked as a secretary for Randolph County Abstract for 47 years.

Barbara was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester.

It was Barbara’s wish to be cremated. Services will be held at a later date.
