Dorothy Ann Yankey

DOROTHY ANN YANKEY, 81, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:15 am, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at her residence.

She was born to the late Howard V. and Genevieve (nee Godair) Valleroy on October 18, 1937 in Evansville, Illinois.

She married William G. Yankey on March 25, 1956 at First United Methodist Church in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on October 20, 2004.

Dorothy had worked as a cook at Chester High School for many years.

She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Rockwood, Illinois. She was also an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Chester V.F.W. Post #3553.
