Walter R. Morrison

WALTER R. MORRISON, 83, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:19 pm, Monday, September 24, 2018 at his residence.

He was born to the late Ernest and Goldie (nee Glasgow) Morrison on August 16, 1935 in Sparta, Illinois.

Walter married LaVerne Diercks on July 1, 1972 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked in the stock room for Spartan Light Metals for 32 years.

Walter was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 and the Moose Lodge #1764. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Walter was a Navy Veteran.
