MARY A HOWIE, 87, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:15 pm, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
She was born to the late Ernie and Jessie (nee Gale) Rodewald in June 13, 1931 in Murphysboro, Illinois.
She married Harold T. Howie on August 25, 1950 at Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois; he survives.
Mary had worked at Aretha’s Flower Shop, was a bus driver for Coleman’s Bus Service and was self-employed in her own beauty shop, The Velvet Touch, in Chester, Illinois.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois.
