Carl Louis Rieke

CARL LOUIS RIEKE, SR, 79, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 am, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at New Athens for the Aged Nursing Home, New Athens, Illinois.

He was born to the late Paul and Adele (nee Wegener) Rieke on January 20, 1939 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Carl married Marian Braun on January 20, 1962 in Evansville, Illinois; she survives.

Carl served in the army and was a member of American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville, Illinois; where he served as commander. He retired from Illinois Power and loved to be around his grandchildren.
