Burnie M. Herrell

BURNIE M. HERRELL, 85, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 11:35 pm, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

She was born to the late C.W. and Helen (nee Hickman) Wilson on March 28, 1933 in Bald Knob, Arkansas.

She married Herbert Herrell on June 29, 1948 in Searcy, Arkansas; he preceded her in death on July 9, 1992.

Burnie retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Chester Memorial Hospital for 33 years.

She was a member of River of Life Church in Percy, Illinois. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Bald Knob Chapter and loved to go to the Chester Senior Citizen Center. She loved country music and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
