Jack Robert Gordon

JACK R. GORDON, 88 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:50 pm, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois .

He was born to Kenneth and Edna (nee Satterfield) Gordon on September 20, 1929 in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Jack married Eileen Pariset on October 1, 1949 in Murphysboro, Illinois.  She preceded him in death on July 23, 2013.

He was a retired manager of security therapy at Chester Mental Health Center.

Jack was of the Methodist Faith and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487, VFW Post #3553 and the AFSCME.

It was Jack’s wish to be cremated.
