RUTH A. MATTINGLY, 77, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:23 pm, Friday, July 27, 2018 at her residence.

She was born to the late Clarence and Audrey (nee Alderman) Clark on May 5, 1941 in Renick, West Virginia.

She married Louis Thomas Mattingly, Jr and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2006.

She was a homemaker and was baptized in the Catholic Faith.

She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her goldfish, going to Wal-Mart and spending time with her grandchildren.
