LORENE WELSHANS, 84, of Waterloo, Illinois, formerly of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 6:50 am, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her residence.

She was born to the late William and Mathilda (nee Davitz) Braun on November 29, 1933 in Evansville, Illinois.

Lorene married Dyrol Lane Welshans on August 14, 1954 in Hernando, Mississippi; he preceded her in death on June 7, 1992.

She had worked at Singer in Red Bud, Illinois and then she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Ruma Convent until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois. Lorene also enjoyed doing crafts with her sister.
