ETHEL V. BIEVENUE, 88, of Chester, Illinois, formerly of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 10:38 am, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Lloyd and Christina (nee Weber) Godare on March 25, 1930 in Prairie du Rocher, Ilinois.

Ethel married Orville W. Bievenue on August 27, 1949 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on February 24, 2007.

She had worked for International Shoe Company in Evansville, Illinois and Snyder General in Red Bud, Illinois.

She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. Ethel loved gardening, baking, fishing and playing cards.
