Evangeline "Angie" E. Welge

EVANGELINE “ANGIE” E. WELGE, 85 , Perryville, Missouri, formerly of Chester, Illinois, received her eternal reward at 2:00 am on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to William Frank Carl and Emma Helen Louise (nee Boettcher) Bahr on May 17, 1933 in Ord, Nebraska.

She married Wolter H. Welge on June 23, 1957 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on December 14, 2011.

Angie was employed by Buena Vista National Bank for over 25 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed family time.  She also enjoyed fishing with her husband Wolter after she retired.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois.
