LEONA K. WEGENER, 91 , of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 3:25 am, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois.

She was born to Henry K. and Ella (nee Hanebutt) Kueker on November 17, 1926 in Evansville, Illinois.

She married Harold Wegener on July 27, 1952 in Evansville, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on January 16, 1996.

Leona was a retired stitcher at the International Shoe Factory.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ruma, Illinois.
