Bernard M. Korando

BERNARD M. KORANDO, 90 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 6:20 am, on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born to Thomas and Ella (nee Shields) Korando on July 18, 1927 in Raddle, Illinois.

Bernard married Helen M. Hecht on September 23, 1950 in Piggott, Arkansas.  She survives.

He was a farmer and retired from aircraft management.

Bernard was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois.

He was a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau and the Holy Name Society at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis Grove.

Bernard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He loved spending time with his family, farming, gardening and taking care of his animals.
