Vernon J. Rock, Jr.

VERNON J. ROCK, JR., 74 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:30 pm, on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home in Chester, Illinois.

He was born to Vernon J., Sr. and Doris (nee Schackett) Rock on April 15, 1944 in Monroe, Michigan.

Vernon and Nancy Stowe got married in Pinckneyville, Illinois and have been married for 42 years.  She survives.

Vernon was a Superintendant at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation.

He was of the Baptist Faith

A Private Graveside Service was held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, Illinois with Dr. Mike Fogerson officiating
