Patrick "Pat" Charles O'Hara

PATRICK “PAT” C. O’HARA, 84, of Ruma, Illinois, passed away at 8:40 am, Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late William and Irene (nee Hoy) O’Hara on March 28, 1934 in Ruma, Illinois.

Pat married Yvonne M. Pautler on April 23, 1960 in Evansville, Illinois; she preceded him in death on March 7, 2015.

He had been a life-time farmer. Pat also worked as an auto mechanic at Horrell’s and worked maintenance at Wiegmann’s in Freeburg for 20 years.

He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ruma, Illinois. He was a Parrish council member and a trustee for the church.  Pat was a member of the American Legion Post #622 in Prairie du Rocher and the Randolph County Farm Bureau. He was a school board member for Gibault High School in Waterloo. Pat enjoyed woodworking. He was also an Army Veteran.
