LUCILLE M. CISSELL, 95, of Modoc, Illinois, passed away at 3:05 am, Tuesday, April 03, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.
She was born to the late John and Flossie Mae (nee Cockrell) Bagsby on March 4, 1923 in Hickman County, Kentucky.
Lucille married James “Cisco” S. Cissell on December 26, 1938 at Fancy Farm, Kentucky; he preceded her in death on April 28, 1997.
She had worked at the Sewing Factory in Red Bud, Illinois and had been a cook for many years at the English Inn and Four Flags. She retired from the Shoe Factory in New Athens, Illinois.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Renault, Illinois. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband. She was an avid quilter.
