KENNETH C. BIETHMAN, 86, of Lenzburg, Illinois, formerly of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 3:14 pm, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence.
He was born to the late Albert and Mabel (nee Kennedy) Biethman on March 6, 1932 in Evansville, Illinois.
Kenny married Pearl Blow on February 7, 1953 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois; she preceded him in death on April 4, 1984. He then married Ricky Stolte on November 23, 1989 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Modoc, Illinois; she survives.
He had worked for Illinois Excavators for 30 years. He also owned and operated Kenny & Pearl Tavern in Modoc, Illinois for many years. After retirement, he managed the American Legion in Prairie du Rocher for over 10 years. K
enny was a member of the United Church of Christ in Lenzburg, Illinois; American Legion Post #622 in Prairie du Rocher, IL; V.F.W. Post #6632 in Red Bud, Illinois and Labors Local #925 in Chester, Illinois. He had also been a previous member of the 40/8 club. He was also a proud support of the Lenzburg Fire Department.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting in the springtime.
Kenny was a Korean War Army Veteran.
