Freeda M Whelan

FREEDA M. WHELAN , 77, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Saint Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

She was born to the late Herbert and Oman (nee Wilson) Bennett on September 19, 1940 in Roots, Illinois.

Freeda married Allen J. Whelan on March 21, 1959 at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud, Illinois; he survives.

Freeda owned and operated Freeda’s Bar in Renault, Illinois from 2004 to present. She was also a homemaker.
