Dean Lochhead

DEAN L. LOCHHEAD, 84, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 11:03 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Perry County Memorial Hospital, Perryville, Missouri.

He was born to the late James H. and Hilda (nee Knigge) Lochhead on July 30, 1933 in Chester, Illinois.

He married Maxine R. Zgonina on September 25, 1954 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri; she preceded him in death on January 11, 2014.

Dean had worked as a mechanic and had been the owner of James H. Lochhead & Sons in Chester, Illinois from 1953 to 1995.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois. Dean was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus #3790. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post #3553. Dean was also a member of the American Legion Post #487 and the Eagles Club Aerie #3252. He was on the Chester Fire Department for 14 years. Dean also enjoyed antique car shows and he had been an usher at the church. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.
