Eugene "Pete" E. Groves

EUGENE “PETE” E. GROVES, 76 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 3:00 am, on Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home in Chester, Illinois.

He was born to Eldon and Jane (nee McWilliams) Groves on December 4, 1941 in Belvidere, Illinois.

Pete married Julie Anderson on September 2, 1995, in Tilden, Illinois. She survives.

Pete was a production worker at Spartan Light Metal.

He was of the Christian faith.

Pete loved performing on the guitar, singing Country Western music and hanging with family and friends.
