Laverne C. Schlueter

LAVERNE SCHLUETER, 83, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 5:05 am, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late Godfrey and Clara (nee Schmidt) Kleinschmidt on September 22, 1934 in Arnold, Missouri.

She married Elmer F. Schlueter on May 6, 1956 in Arnold, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on September 17, 1994.

Laverne was a homemaker and farmer.

She was of the Lutheran Faith and a member of the Randolph County Farm Bureau.  She enjoyed gardening, painting and spending time on the family farm.  She loved her animals – deer, cows and cats.
