Virginia M Peters

VIRGINIA M. PETERS, 91, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 5:46 pm, Monday, November 12, 2017 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Fount and Arlena (nee King) Gregory on April 1, 1926 in Jonesboro, Illinois.

She married Fred “Fritz” Peters on December 26, 1946 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on March 28, 1975.

Virginia worked at the International Shoe Company in Evansville for 24 years. She then worked as a Support Service Worker at Chester Mental Health Center for 20 years. Virginia enjoyed spending her spare time working in the yard.
