Dorothy H. Vest

DOROTHY HUETSCH VEST, 97, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 pm, Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late Lester and Rose (nee Hughes) Oliver on March 27, 1920 in Virden, Illinois.

She married Charles “Bud” Huetsch on September 10, 1939 in Woodcliff, KY; he preceded in death on January 8, 1981.  She then married Jack Vest on April 16, 1981; he preceded in death on January 1994.

Dorothy and her first husband, Charles moved from their home on Triple Lakes Road to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1971. She lived in Florida for over 30 years enjoying the weather and golf. In 2001, she moved to Red Bud to live near her children.

She had worked as a Beautician and also was a homemaker.

It was Dorothy’s wish to be cremated. There will be no services. She will be buried next to her husband, Charles Huetsch in Ft. Myers, Florida.
