William "Bill" R Fricke

WILLIAM “BILL” R. FRICKE, 85 , of Rockwood, Illinois, passed away at 3:08 pm, Monday, October 2, 2017 at his residence.

He was born to the late Fred Richard and Emma Belle (nee Krug) Fricke on December 23, 1931 in Rockwood, Illinois.

He married Janice Clore on July 10, 1965 in Chester, Illinois; she survives.

Bill was a laborer and had worked for the Randolph County Highway Department. He was also a farmer.

He was of the Christian Faith.  He was a member of the VFW Post # 3553 in Chester and Laborer Local # 459 in Ellis Grove. Bill enjoyed rabbit and coon hunting. He loved to play cards, especially pinochle and enjoyed playing dominoes. He was also an Army Veteran.
