MICHAEL L.  MCCARSON , 65, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 8:55 pm, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Arville and Frieda (nee Little) McCarson on July 31, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Michael married Mary Ann Shepard on April 7, 1971 in Cahokia, Illinois; she preceded him in death on November 11, 2009.

He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Red Bud, Illinois. Michael was a guitarist and enjoyed painting and drawing cartoons.
