Donald "Don" A Salger

DONALD “DON” A. SALGER, 80, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:13am, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Red Bud Care Center, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Walter and Helen (nee Block) Salger on January 2, 1937 in Red Bud, Illinois.

He married Verla Res on November 27, 1958 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois; she survives.

Don worked as a mechanic all of his life and worked with his family at Salger Brothers in Red Bud, Illinois.  He also collected Oliver Tractors and played the accordion in his family band.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois.
