ULES AARON, 85 , of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at 1:15 pm, Friday, May 5, 2017 at his residence.

He was born to the late Jesse and Edna (nee Brewer) Aaron on March 31, 1932 in Red Bay, Alabama.

Ules married his first wife, Mamie Luker, in 1952. She preceded him in death. He then married Earnestine Simmons on March 10, 1969 in Freeburg, IL. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2005.

He worked at Spartan Light Metals as a furnace cleaner for 32 years. He was an avid fisherman and woodsman. Ules volunteered in the areas nursing homes and entertained them by singing and playing music. He also enjoyed doing upholstery work.

He was a member of the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester, Illinois where he played music and sang for many years.
