JERRY UNDERWOOD, 73, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 1:48 pm, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late William David and Clara Mae (nee Seal) Underwood on July 14, 1943 in Piggott, Arkansas.

He married Patricia Mae Throgmorton on May 29, 1970 in Freeburg, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked at AT&T as a technician for 38 years.

He was of the Protestant Faith.  He enjoyed working on cars and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

He was served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
