MARK ALAN GRAPPERHAUS, 47 , of Evansville, Illinois passed away at 11:15 pm, Friday, March 3, 2017 at his residence.

He was born to Charles “Chuck” and Marilyn (nee Hostmeyer) Grapperhaus on November 16, 1969 in Highland, Illinois.

Mark married Shellie Cartwright on February 17, 2017 in Evansville, IL.  She survives.

He worked as a Sergeant at Menard Correctional Center and was a US Navy Veteran.

Mark was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois, Sportsman’s Club in Modoc, Knights of Columbus #1952 in Evansville, American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville and Chester Eagles Club Aerie #3252.
