LOIS LAVERN KOESTER, 73, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco, Texas.
She was born to the late Walter and Opal (nee Thieret) Deimund on December 22, 1943 in Perryville, Missouri.
She married Leonard Koester on November 17, 1962 in Evansville, Illinois; he survives.
Lois owned and operated Koester Kustom Kurl in Red Bud for 30 years.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois. She was an enjoyed quilting, fishing and camping.
She was a member of the Koester Kustom Kurl Bowling Team on the Wednesday afternoon league. She also served as secretary for the league.
