Dave Dufrenne

DAVE DUFRENNE, 74, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:55 pm, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Care Center, Red Bud, Illinois

Dave was born to the late Arch and Nova (nee Godier) DuFrenne on October 18, 1942 in Modoc, Illinois.

He married Joyce A. Sievers on November 26, 1964 in Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

Dave, along with his wife, Joyce, owned and operated Dave and Joyce’s Country Kitchen in Red Bud, Illinois since 1989.  In his earlier years, Dave worked at Big A and also worked with his brother, Don, at D&D Auto Parts in Red Bud.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois and American Legion Post #619 in Baldwin, Illinois.   He was an Army Veteran.

He was an avid fisherman, loved going camping and stock car racing.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
