Kenneth "Kenny" Taggart

KENNETH “KENNY” TAGGART, 91 , of Chester, IL, passed away at 7:34 am, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his home in Chester, IL.

He was born to the late John and Clara (nee: Jostes) Taggart on February 4, 1925 in Campbell Hill, Illinois.

Kenny married Wilma C DeRousse on December 6, 1947 in Chester, Illinois.  She survives.

Kenny was of the Presbyterian Faith.

He was a retired Corrections Officer at Menard Correctional Center and farmer

Kenny was a Navy Veteran of WWII.  He was a member of the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 in Chester, Illinois Police Association and AFSCME.
