Ralph "Blue" L Congleton

RALPH “BLUE” L. CONGLETON, 90 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:03 pm, Friday, December 9, 2016 at his residence.

He was born to the late Frank and Effie (nee Tope) Congleton on April 6, 1926 in Grand Tower, Illinois.

He married Betty Hasemeyer on June 28, 1952 in Piggot, Arkansas; she survives.

Blue worked as the Water Superintendent for the City of Chester for 33 years.

He was of the Lutheran Faith. He was a life member of the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and VFW Post #3553 both in Chester.

He was a WWII Army Airforce Veteran.
