Jerry Dean Tindall

JERRY DEAN TINDALL, 85 of Chester, Illinois; passed away at 1:30 am, Monday, November 21, 2016 at Integrity Healthcare of Carbondale, Carbondale, Illinois.

He was born to the late Reginald and Katherine (nee Layne) Tindall on April 11, 1931 in Chester, Illinois.

He married Genevieve Petrowske on May 1, 1953 in Chester, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked at Chester Mental Health in Chester, Illinois for 20 years. He had previous worked for Brown Shoe Company.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois and had served on the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Committee.  He was also a member of AFSCME.

He enjoyed taking his grandchildren fishing, going squirrel hunting and taking Genevieve shopping. He was an Army Veteran.
