Andy O. Clarkson, Jr.

ANDY O. CLARKSON, JR., 79 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:27 pm on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Shiloh, Illinois.

He was born to the late Andy O. Sr. and Anna Marie (nee: Knop) Clarkson on August 9, 1937 in Larned, Kansas.

He married Carolyn Pickens on December 16, 1962 in Garfield, Kansas.  She survives.

Andy was a retired guard at Chester Mental Health Center.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois.  He was a past president of Chester Eagles Aerie #3252 and a member of the Knights of Columbus, #3790, American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and Elks Lodge #1629 in Chester.

Andy was a Veteran of the US Army.
