Thomas L Marcheski, Sr.

THOMAS L. MARCHESKI, SR., 77, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Siteman Cancer Center, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Joseph J. and Helen (nee Stephen) Marcheski on May 2, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He married Barbara A. Berghoefer on March 1, 1969 in Cahokia, Illinois; she survives.

He was a retired truck driver for Teamster Local #604 in St. Louis, Missouri.  For the past couple of years, he had been a Parts Driver for Weir’s in Red Bud.

He was a Marine Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post #6632 in Red Bud, Illinois. He had been an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and reading.

It was Thomas’ wishes to donate his body to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
