LLOYD “WHITEY” JOHN HUEY, 97, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:45 am on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home in Chester, Illinois.
He was born to John A. and Cora (nee: Bruns) Huey on September 29, 1919 in Modoc, Illinois.
He married Iva U. Mifflin on January 20, 1943 in Perryville, Missouri. She preceded him in death on June 20, 1985.
Whitey was a retired police officer.
He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 and the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and the Eagles Club Aerie #3252, a Master Mason with Masonic Lodge # 72, a member of the Elks Lodge #1629 and the Randolph County Police Association.
Whitey was an Army Veteran and served during WWII.
