OFFICER JAMES I. BROCKMEYER, 22, of Chester, Illinois, passed away 11:20 pm, Friday, October 28, 2016 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
He was born to Donald and Dixie (nee Bowen) Brockmeyer on April 30, 1994 in Chester, Illinois.
He had been a Police Office for the Chester Police Department for 10 months. Before joining the Police Department; he had worked for the City of Chester in the Gas Department. He also had worked part-time for Derek’s Lawn Service in Chester.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois and Randolph County Rod and Gun Club. He was also a volunteer Fireman for Chester Fire Department.
He graduated from Chester High School in 2012. During High School, he played Football, Basketball and Baseball.
