RUBY E. KOESTER, 92, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 9:46 pm, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, Illinois.

She was born to the late John and Wilhelmina (nee Falkenhein) Tillock on March 24, 1924 in Baldwin, Illinois.

She married Wilbert Koester on September 27, 1942 at St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Illinois; he preceded her in death on January 27, 1995.

She was a homemaker.  She loved crocheting, play music especially on the organ and spending time in her flower garden.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Red Bud (Prairie), Illinois.
