PAULINE A. SCHMITZ, 77, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 am, Monday, August 1, 2016 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.

She was born to the late Frank N. and Carrie E. (nee: DuClos) Fogilphol on July 26, 1939 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

She married Greg Schmitz on February 1, 1964 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he survives.

She had a career in home health care and retired as a clerk at Ace Hardware of Red Bud in 2014.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud.
