Mildred L. Castens

MILDRED L. CASTENS, 91 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:02 pm, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois .

She was born to the late Edward and Frieda (nee: Rickenberg) Lindenberg on December 9, 1924 in Randolph County, Illinois.

She married Elvin R. Castens on May 31, 1947 in Chester, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on January 14, 2003.

Mildred was of the Lutheran Faith and a Life Member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She was retired from Nordmeyer’s Grocery Store where she had been a clerk.
