Marcella M Droste

MARCELLA M. DROSTE, 90, of Ruma, Illinois, formerly of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 9:08 am, Friday, April 22, 2016 at her residence.

She was born to the late Thomas and Emma (nee Doiron) Roy on September 26, 1925 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

She married Wallace H. “Bunt” Droste on October 3, 1944 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on May 3, 1997.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ruma, Illinois and had been in the Altar Sodality at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, former member of St. Clement Hospital Auxiliary and Newman Auxiliary.

She was an avid cook and gardener.  She was an instrumental partner in running the family farm with her husband, Bunt.
