MARION L. SURMAN, 98 of Chester, Illinois; passed away at  6:25 am, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to the late Harry and Mary (nee Wolshock) Montroy on November 23, 1917 in Ft. Gage, Illinois.

She married Edward J. Surman on October 26, 1938 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on May 11, 2014.

She had worked at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation in Chester, Illinois.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois and the altar sodality.
