WANDA DEMENT, 80 , of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 3:20 am, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Red Bud Regional Care in Red Bud, Illinois .

She was born to the late Dallas Eugene and Sydney Alice (nee: Quinn) Hyde on September 18, 1935 in Eddyville, Kentucky.

She married Bobbie DeMent on November 21, 1953 in Kuttawa, Kentucky.  He preceded her in death on July 17, 2013.

Wanda was of the Baptist Faith, the American Legion Auxiliary where she was a Past President and the VFW Auxiliary.  She was an avid Cardinal Fan.

She was a housewife.
