Joseph R " Dick" Wiegard

JOSEPH R. “DICK” WIEGARD, 75, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:20 am, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at residence.

He was born to the late Joseph and Norine (nee Steibel) Wiegard on October 28, 1940 in Modoc, Illinois.

He married Joan J. Cowell on June 11, 1966 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

He was a barber and owned Dick’s Barber Shop in Red Bud, Illinois for 38 years.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois.  He was an avid Cardinal Baseball Fan and gardener. He enjoyed playing cards, especially pinnacle and euchre, with his family and friends.

He served in the Army Reserves for 6 years.
