Gary Dale Eggemeyer

GARY DALE EGGEMEYER, 65 , of Walsh, Illinois, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Adolph C., Jr. and Wilma (nee: Kloth) Eggemeyer on September 16, 1950 in Red Bud, Illinois.

He married Donna M. Petrowske on November 30, 2000 in Walsh, Illinois.  She survives.

Gary worked atMenard Penitentiary for 30 years and retired as a Lieutenant.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois and the Chester Eagles Aerie #3252.

Gary was an avid hunter, gardener and enjoyed 4 wheel riding.  His Pride and Joy was his farm where he and his wife resided. The Eggemeyer farm has been in the family for over 100 years.  This is where Gary was the happiest, living on “Walsh Time”, as he often called it.
